Cars Are Cars

I will be DJ’ing at The Velvet at Noon today – a Rez Day party for a much-loved resident who frequents the club. What is so amazing about him is that he has never said a word. He just beeps or honks the horn of his car avatar, yet manages to communicate approval and welcome. Most of all he communicates joie d’vivre. He joins in events with gusto, finding super-sized sunglasses for his windshield for the beach event and flower for the Valentine’s Day Party. In this chat-centric world we inhabit, his life as a nonverbal communicator is performance art of the highest level. So, he turns 1 today and we wish him the very best and many happy returns.

Today I am wearing a fabulous white oxford shirt with vest combo from Gizza. It comes with several colors for the vest. I love how well-rigged the sleeves are, look how the elbows look natural with that rolled up sleeve.  I added an undone bowtie from Adore and Abhor that is just exactly what I was looking for. The skirt is a stylish, colorful mini from Maitreya with great details such as the double seams. The shoes are from Kunglers in a fabulous black and white oxford-style pump.

Here you can see the tie a bit more clearly. The hair is from Wasabi Pills and the earrings are from Plastik. The earrings come in enough colors to sink a battleship.

My skin comes from PXL Creations, the Gaia line with the grey eye shadow.
