There is a old saying that goes “if you want to climb a wall, throw your hat over it.” In essence, make a commitment that puts some skin in the game so failure will cost you. That is good advice, Sometimes we need consequences to motivate us. However, I am not throwing this hat over the wall. I am sure I must have some ball cap somewhere that will do. This hat, one of several from Glam Affair for Collabor88, got me digging in my closet to add some zing to the zip of this cute little dress from Hucci, also from Collabor88.
The Hastings dress from Hucci is adorable, but I wanted some volume and drama to match the drama of the bold Oly hat from Glam Affair, so I pulled out this ruff from Bliss Couture. It adds a lot of volume and an entire season of drama. The dress itself is rich in details such as the body conscious torso, the full and flirty skirt and the inset black waist and the black folded bodice edging. It’s a stunner and comes in several colors that will suit every mood.
Isn’t is wonderful how perfectly the line of the ruff follows the line of the dress – even in the back? The shoes are a new release from MiaMai called Candy. I certainly love the candy colors.
My hair is an old one from Kik that I love for its drama. It comes with custom lashes to wear with it, long dramatic lashes for below the eye so the long bangs don’t intersect with any lashes on the top. The skin is from Curio’s Party Girl. The earrings are from Paper Couture while the rings and bracelets are from Je Suis.
