Today is a good day for tweed. The sun is shining and it is colder than usual. There is enough wind to make the cold work its way to your bones if you are not dressed for the weather. But put on some nice wool tweeds and you will be impervious to the wind and ready for anything. When the tweeds look as good as these, you will be more than ready. 

The Drift City pants are a great wardrobe investment piece. They are designed to go with many things with the waist low enough to avoid most jacket intersections and the belt placed perfectly to avoid conflicts. Even better, they come with a HUD allowing you to change the belt color six ways to Sunday. They are quite long and look best with pumps or ankle boots. These pumps are from Kunglers.

The Laney jacket from erratic is one I have worn before in black. I love the modern styling of the jacket with the narrow stand up collar and lapel, the leather inset at the sleeve and shoulder join, and the rows of layered leather at the bottom. It’s beautifully structured, minimalist in its essentials, but with many strong design details. I added the lovely raw silk Fearne tee from MichaMi. I bought that fat pack a few years back and have been so glad I did.  I get a lot of use out of it and the fabric is so rich looking.

My hair is up in a high pony tail thanks to Exile’s lovely new hairstyle called Little Talks. My jewelry is from Maxi Gossamer, a set called Beatrice.

This Clarissa skin is from Swallow and is expected to be released in January. I love the dusting of freckles and its classic style and am very eager to see the rest of the skins in the gorgeous line.
