I wanted to do something without post-processing at all for the Black and White Challenge from Maci and our very own Hybie. I love the idea of working without post processing for things like this because it challenges you.

The first thing I did was go madly flipping through Honour McMillan’s blog to find someplace likely. Her blog remains a bloggers best resource for awesome and unlikely on location places to shoot. Cheers Honour.

The new Vienna jumpsuit from Baiastice handily came in a black and white option and so after accessorizing I was off to see what I could make happen.

The Cube Project is largely black and white anyway, but laying a film filter from FILTERCAM over the top lent a gray and grainy look to the world that suited what I was going for.

I did not opt for a grey skin or a purely black and white face, because as Nathan Lane tells us in the Birdcage, one does want a bit of color.
