Head to Toe, Mesh is the Word

I was not excited about the advent of mesh, fearful that new technology would mean new reasons to crash and new problems to solve. In part that is true, there are new fitting problems. In order to fit the mesh to your shape, you do have to make the central core of your shape conform to a range of standard sizes. In exchange, though, you do not have to fit five separate sculpts to your shape, then edit them every time you change your pose. FaMESHed is a monthly sales event that has formed to celebrate the glory of mesh and this second month is even more exciting than the first.  By the way, look at the wide sleeve of the top, lines so it does not disappear, it is far superior to the melting flesh that lines a bell-shaped system sleeve.

Today, I am literally wearing mesh from head to toe. Yes, feet, the adorable mesh feet from Gaeline. I took a few photos of Miffyhoi Rosca the other day – posing for one of Gidge’s pose vendors and mentioned how great her feet looked – melding seamlessly into her calves. She gave me the landmark for Gaeline where she bought them and told me how super easy they were to fit and to tint.

And yes, they were easy. So very, very easy except that I had this faint visible line where they met the calf – right above the ankle. I could see how well the skin matched and zooming in up close everything looked perfect, but zooming out, BAM! there was that line. Well, I spent far too long before noticing a button on the hud in the upper right. I put a red arrow on the hud to point to it so you will not waste the time I wasted. Do you see it? It says Ankle Join Show Hide. Yeah, you click hide and the line goes away. Go figure. So, it’s true. The hud is super simple and so very easy to use. IF YOU PAY ATTENTION!

Just another picture to show off how great the feet work.

The gorgeous swimsuit is from One Bad Pixel. Now this is perfection. I have worn sculptie bikinis and they are cute but wearing them in public you risk indiscretions – not so with this bikini that covers perfectly and moves with no potentially embarrassing gaps. It’s perfect active sportswear.

And then you can cover up with the luscious Leverocci kimono jacket. The One Bad Pixel and Leverocci designers must have overdosed on skittles because the produced both outfits in rainbows of color. The necklace is also mesh – from Maxi Gossamer. The hair is Wasabi Pill’s chic new mesh short cut – making this literally mesh from head to toe. Only the nails from Mandala and the earrings and ring from Chloe are not mesh.

p.s. I shot these at one of the Costa Rica sims National Parks, except I think I may have trespassed unless the house was part of the park, so I am not giving a slurl. You can find wonderful beaches at many of the Costa Rica several National Parks.
