This is a busy weekend for those who love fashion in Second Life. There’s so much going on my head spins. Thankfully, Evelyn Hartshon who works on Blogging Second Life with me has compiled a directory of events to help keep track. Of course, if you click that link you run the risk of spending all your lindens.
On Sunday Chic² opens to celebrate the second birthday of Chic Management. I stopped by the bloggers preview and was wowed by its simplicity coupled with the overwhelming variety of offerings from the 150 designers who have come together to celebrate this milestone.
As always at any event, I discover a store that’s new to me. I have never heard of Zanzo before but am thrilled with their very chic and fashionable version of a shorts set. Like most mesh, it’s standard sized though I did have to reduce the muscles on my legs by a lot (26 points on the slider) to get the banded cuff on the shorts to not disappear in my thighs. The insides are textured, though, so there’s no problems when you shoot from different angles such as this one that also shows of the sandals from Baiastice.
I shot this set using a pose prop from Lost Angel. This set of boxes comes in white, floral or vintage styles and has eight fabulously high fashion poses. Their box is decorated so perfectly that I wanted to buy that, too. Update! Turns out it is for sale. There’s a framed picture on the wall on the right – and you can buy a fat pack of the set, the boxes and two pose mannequins (each with eight poses).
Not only are the poses very editorial, they are great for showing off specific items like these prim nails from Candy Nail.
My hair is from Exile and the skin is the newest release from Baiastice which is at the Skin Showcase event. The jewelry is from Je Suis.
