Ezura & FluiD Furniture's POE giftsHappy last day of November, and start of Advent! (Not that I really know what Advent is, but I hear it’s like a super-long Hannukah?) At any rate, I’m wearing two POE gifts today, one from Ezura (the lovely frock), and one from FluiD Furniture (the lovely headband, interestingly enough). They go together well! I’m also wearing a skin from a new-to-me skin shop, Mystic Canvass. This skin was for moody monday, and I like the delicate blush of it!  POE4 starts tomorrow, and I’m excited!

1970 was the year the Beatles broke up. Let It Be was #1 and Paul McCartney released his first solo album.  All My Children premiered. Bras were burned. The US, France and the USSR were testing nuclear weapons all over the place. The US announced its 500th nuclear explosion. The Chicago Seven were found innocent of inciting a riot. Love Story was the biggest movie of the year. The Who’s Tommy was performed at Lincoln Center. The voting age was lowered to 18 in the US and Casey Kasey’s very first America’s Top 40 was broadcast on the 4th of July.  You can enjoy the best part of 1970 – the music – at The Velvet tonight from 7 to 9 pm at the weekly Rock Per Annum event chronicling the music from 1960 to 2012 over 52 weeks.

Eek! I am frightened! I must emote!

Peatonville Asylum is a scary place even wearing such a perfect little top and sweater as this. The top may be familiar to you as it conquered the grid, the metaverse and the galaxies of Gallafrey when it was released earlier this year. The sweater, on the other hand, will be released into the wild by Wynter for the Peace on Earth hunt starting on Dec. 3rd. At such a scary place, a person might expect to look a bit frightened, which is assisted by a recent discovery on Marketplace – a freebie that belongs in every photographer’s pocket.

You see, not only does it allow me to choose the typical emotes, but it also gives me control of my eyes and my hands. The skirt, by the way, is also from the Peace on Earth hunt – from CIA. It comes with a luscious ruffled top, but the top plunges like a rollar coaster which made it just a bit dressy for the look I wanted.

Fricka Morgath of Frick has made NEW SKINS. I love it when she does this. They are always so carefully modded and pretty, right down to the pixels, and always extremely affordable (in fact, there’s a sale until 12/2, and the skin I’m wearing is only 10L!). New Long Hair From Truth PLUS a HAT!

Truth has released three new long hairs which are freaking gorgeous plus one – Blair has a hat! HAT I SAY!  Hat hair is much maligned and there is a reason. It’s often just crap. This isn’t true today though because this is a great winter cap which is texture change to let you wear it with different outfits! YAY TEXTURE CHANGE!

The necklace is the very cute kawaii themed release from Dark Mouse for the project Theomery thing or however you spell it. I don’t know what that word means. I also don’t care. Is it even a word? I don’t much care because creators release awesome things for it so it could be called the Fart Festival I’d still go and see what is new.

THEMEORY! THAT is how you spell it. I went to my fave blog for all events – Seraphim to look it up. Seraphim is the shiz.
