A short retrospective of the amazing work of Digit Darkes.
I am not alone is feeling shock, dismay and sadness that Digit Darkes has left SL – at least under that name, closing her store and her sim. I don’t know why and won’t speculate, but will only offer this retrospective of some of the joy and color she has brought to my SL experience.

I have not seen any announcement. Her name and profile are gone from search as is her sim and her store. She has no items on XStreet. She left with no fanfare – with the sort of elegance of Garbo.
Her profile is still in search but blank. I am sad to see her depart. She was one of my early favorite designers.
I’m sorry to hear that, Digit Darkes made one of my all-time favourite SL dresses – Ginsuzu Forest. Whatever may be the reasons for closing/moving on, I do send best wishes.
Wow, those graphics are pretty time-intensive looking! Did she do all those illustrations herself and produce the clothes? Just putting those illustrations together would be a full-time job, I think, without actually trying to create the clothing.
She made the clothing. The images are screen-shots (more of less) from an interactive digital world called Second Life.
