Come Dancing

Come dancing,
That’s how they did it when I was just a kid,
And when they said come dancing,
My sister always did.

Is there a happier melody in music than the jubilant “Come Dancing” by the Kinks? The song lyrics are a just a little bittersweet, but the melody is pure joy. Can anyone sit listening to that song without moving to the beat – whether just tapping toes or standing up and dancing? It seems like a great song for these great separates from Baiastice that are perfect for a night of dancing.

The Dhalia top is coordinated with a skirt in the Baiastice store – however, the Shift Pants also are a great match and a better match for the mood I was in.  The La Sauvage shoes from Courtisane are a perfect match in color and sheen and the gold platform really sets them off. In the snaps above, you can see the intricate floral detailing on the top both front and back.

The necklace is from Balderdash – the go to place for delicate, modern jewelry in rich jewel tones. The hair is Criss from EMO-tions and fast becoming a favorite style of mine.

The makeup is from Tuli’s Sayuri line – a delicate and feminine makeup series.

Very nicely done, the colors look great, everything coordinates so well, from shoes to makeup to hair.

I like that hair too, will have to go check it out.

Good background with that shot, it is busy but exactly what was needed to make it rich.
