Say Yes to the Dress

One of the silliest reality shows on cable is ‘Say Yes to the Dress” about the ups and downs of selling wedding dresses as a high end New York retailer known as Kleinfeld’s. It’s inane, but I had to watch it once just because I loved the name of the show. I love to say Yes to the dress – and it’s so easy when the dress is as lovely as this Wilder gown from MiaMai.

The gown has a long train draping behind that cried out for photos shot on a grand staircase like the one at Tara. However, SL was being obnoxious and the staircase sculpties at the four (Four!) sims I went to would simply not form into anything but blobs. Well, actually that last sim, nothing would rez and it stayed a big gray cloud of nothingness while I made some toast and scrambled some eggs and ate breakfast. So, you will just have to use your imagination or see the lovely vendor photos taken on a stairway. The best-laid plans are oft made awry by the Lindens.

The lovely headpiece and back piece come with the dress – setting off the gorgeous little draping off the shoulders. The Lamb hairstyle is sleek and close to the head making fitting the headpiece a snap – yet the pompadour bangs give it some oomph that a simple chignon would lack.

Add some lovely ornate jewelry from Donna Flora and gorgeous  makeup from Belleza and we’re good to go. This dress, by the way, comes in many colors, so there’s no excuse to not say Yes to the dress.
