Simply Ballroom

I turned my husband from a robot into a hooman to show all the girls (and heck guys too) that there is a great option for dressing up your man this New Year’s Eve.  The PARTY IN VENEZIA tuxedo from Musashi Do just HAPPENS to have a vest which PERFECTLY coordinates with the BROCADE PRINCESS gown – also from Musashi Do.

This brings you a great cohesive style as a couple without that lame “Oh they wore matching outfits how cute” look. These are not matching outfits – rather they are formal wear made to coordinate and compliment each other. And it’s perfect for New Year’s Eve balls and events!

As a girl dressing a boy AV for only the second time (the first time was when I dressed us Winter) – I was a little bit worried about figuring it out cuz MAN this tux has options. My husband was finishing up some other things so I was left to my own devices for a while running back and forth between two computers trying to figure it all out.  And there is where I have to share something AWESOME.

You know I am prim adjustment challenged right? Winter once asked me “WHAT IS WITH THAT?” and all I can say is I am spatially challenged.  I’m not stupid, I understand the concepts but GOD I can’t do it properly to save my life.  So this tuxedo comes with a hud – and my first thought is
Dear God why does a tuxedo need a hud?”

I’ll tell you why. Because it makes adjustments so simple even I can do it. You can change your bow tie color (excellent!) and you can adjust the tie and collar to the proper place on the shape.

This might not sound like THAT big of a deal – but did I mentioned that this prim challenged girl was running Silo’s AV on a laptop with no exterior mouse?  Right. Basically I was on an inferior video card that runs the grid like it’s trying to make a freight train go – with no mouse and trying to fit a suit on a former robot.

I would have had a screaming meltdown had it not been for that hud – which made quick adjustments a two minute process.

I love this set and think it’s quite glamorous on the husband and me.

What do you think?

You dressed your hubby to a ‘T’ HUD or no HUD

And you look quite lovely as well……

I certainly hope he appreciates your efforts.
