I love the hair at Detour – but sadly it has been an age and half since they last produced some new hair. So yesterday, even though I was all dressed, had done my style notes and ready to shoot this outfit, when I heard there was new hair at Detour I jumped off my pose pad and thumbed a ride over to Detour. And look what I found!!
This outfit started off when I received a dress from Mika – a formal floor-length version of the babydoll I blogged the other day. I tried it on and it was gorgeous – of course. However, having just blogged the shorter version, it would be a long time before I would blog this one which I thought was such a pity as there are such lovely details to the textures. Which is when I decided to take off the prims, put on a different skirt (from anuenue) and a jacket from DP Yum Yum. I loved the look.
I added Maitreya Soho boots and some <aitreya socks as the leggings end right at the top of the boots. When I was talking about texture detail, I was thinking about those lovely little wrinkles at the knee on the glitch pants. I mean, they are under a skirt prim. how many of you have glitch pants that are just the base color with no highlights, wrinkles or texturing? When someone puts this kind of work into the glitch pants, well they deserve applause.
The jewelry is Muse’s Kailena. Here you get a really good look at the luscious new hair from Detour. This is Torrid II.
This skin from League brings a nice casual look to the outfit.
