Moody Blues

The moment I put the Rebel X dress created for the final SwanSong event at Black Swan, I knew it had to be shot at Templum ex Obscurum. The dress is the exact color of the glow in the trees and on the water – and has the same wild moodiness and extravagant commitment to an aesthetic.  Even knowing it would work, I confess I was shocked at how perfectly the dress and the sim go together.

I had to try out some of the poses strategically seeded around the sim. This one is near the entrance. As a water-lover, I have daydreamed along the shoreline, enjoying the ebb and flow of the waves…so this pose was certainly one that spoke to me.

My shoes are SLink’s Peeptoes.  Most of the jewelry comes complete with the dress.

The hair is the romantically evocative Breeze from Exile – also created for SwanSong.  You are under explicit orders not to notice that the hair blows one way and the skirt the other.

Templum ex Obscurum is a wild and beautiful sim filled with crystalline trees and rainbows in the night.

The skin from Chaisuki takes on an ethereal glow from the ambient light of the sim. If you have never been, please go and don’t forget to drop something nice into the tip jar as a thank you for sharing this beautiful private sim with the public. We are losing too many wonderful environments because we forget that the people who share them with us have to pay for them.  Perhaps if we share our thanks as readily for our environment as we do for the music DJ’s bring us – and other services we gladly tip for, we might be able to keep stem the losses.

These are beautiful pictures. The effect of moonlight on water combined with the folds of the gown is just stunning.
