Dante

Sometimes the names of outfits confuse me and I try to figure out why they are named what they are. For example, this jacket is named Dante. Well, it is hellfire red, I guess, but other than that, there is nothing hellish about it. In fact, I think it is divine. Hmmm, maybe that’s the reference, though it’s not comedic. Color me confused, but enthralled with this lovely rich and oh-so-luscious jacket.  You can find it at the new-to-me Paper Street Soap Company, a store I stumbled on while looking for another. Those are always the best kind, aren’t they?

While I have your attention, let me also add that Gidge is out of surgery, in recovery and while not ready to dance the cha-cha, the surgery has gone well.

Under the Dante Jacket, I am wearing the Fearne blouse from MichaMi. I cannot begin to express how beautifully this shirt is made and to top it off, it’s on every layer for maximum flexibility.  Now let me stop here a moment and comment on customer service. I received above and beyond customer service from Milla Michanage of MichaMi. I shot another outfit with this blouse in a different color, but SL actually deleted the shirt from my inventory while I was wearing it in some bizarre SL borkage. I had purchased 3 or 4 colors of the shirt and after SL did it’s borkery, I only had one left. Now, I received them fine and even was wearing one when it disappeared so it was completely an SL issue, so the proper course would be to submit an SL ticket, but…I tried the faster method of asking (while explaining that clearly it was not her responsibility) for a replacement and she sweetly replaced them all with one giant fatpack of all the colors.  That sort of more than you should ask for customer service sticks in a person’ mind and I just had to share how great a response she provided to me even though the real fault was with SL.

With it I am wearing the Lea pants from LeeZu. Now, did I really even need to say these pants were from LeeZu? They have her avant use of rich texture and playful dimensions and the exquisite high-waisted work on these pants are sign her name better than anything. I wore the python skinn ankle boots from Tesla just to give the pants some competition.

Now for some serious YUM! This hair from Tiny Bird (Emma) was a Blogger Appreciation Week pressie and I am nonplussed. Why had I not already snapped this up? Perhaps it is new, but if it has been out for even a week, I have been seriously derelict because this hair is hot, hot, hot. The flower is touch-to-change scripted and look how beautifully it photographs without any bizarre intersections. I am in serious, deep and abiding love.

And then the skin. Okay, I have been wearing Rockberry’s Uma off and on for the last couple weeks and every time I put it on I am struck again by its luminosity and the elegant beauty of this skin. Generally, Rockberry has been my go-to brand for freckly cuteness and tomboyish skin, but not for elegance and sophistication. This skin changes all that. The makeups are exquisitely dramatic without being heavy. The lashes can stand alone without prim lashes if you wish. The lips are kissable and luscious but not pouty.  With this skin, Rockberry has really taken a leap forward in creating irresistable skin.
