Blue Blooded Fashion

Has anyone else noticed a recent surge in the creativity and in the sheer volume of clothing releases lately? There’s always a massive number of new releases week in and week out – but this week the volume seems to have surged and even better, some of them are just so exciting and fun.  Now, dear readers, you all know I am Girlie Girl, not a Gothie Girl, but some Goth designs are just irresistibly feminie and cute and I cannot resist. That’s certainly true of this lovely teal dress from Blue Blood.

There are two skirt options – with or without the black net crinoline beneath the panniers. I wore it with the crinoline. The Courtisane boots in blue were a perfect match. They have a bit of white outline around them in the photo. In-world they did not except from one angle of lighting – and then there was what appeared to be transparent invisiprim around them. I considered fixing the pic because it is a result of the lighting angle and not always present, but that seemed misleading, so I left it in.  I have other colors of these boots and have never seen it before so perhaps it’s the new RC Viewer. If you try the demos and it’s not there, it’s probably my viewer acting funny.

The graceful earrings are from Je Veux and the skin is from Curio, Gala’s Sundust Vixen Capri. I shot the pictures at the Tower in the Middle of the Water which is the very definition of calling things as you see them. Paradoxically, this place allows you to build/rez, but by disallowing scripts makes pose pads and huds inoperable, leaving photographers to rely on playing animations directly, my least favorite option.
