Date Night FUNKY!

posted by Gidge Uriza

This was originally a completely different outfit. I had these pants which were BRILLIANT! One leg pink, one leg turquoise and these sneakers that were each the opposite color and it was BAM cool.

However, something went wonky every time I wore the pants for about two minutes, THEY LOST THEIR TEXTURE.

I have no idea, I need to file a JIRA unless someone knows WHY that happens and how to fix it. And yes I rebaked and that did NOT help nuttin.

So, it just so happened that I had picked up these BOMBASS skirts (I believe that is the correct couture term for them) at Sn@tch during their sale, and picked them up than for no better reason than “These are a must have, I’ll totally use them.”

Thus, here I am in one. The Spellbound skirt to the rescue, making a completely different yet STILL rocking outfit for a Saturday night!

I mean seriously, I gotta go dancing. After a hard day of shopping, I need to party, especially in this floofy outfit!  The top and the jacket are from Fishy Strawberry, and I totally just ended up over there on a whim while looking for something to go with the pants which died.

And the skin, whose makeup ROCKED with the pants, is from YOURSKIN – a freckled tomboy face called 12 Corinne – Ocean, Lili – Freckles.

Hi – I’ve had that problem too, but was too lazy/confused to do anything about it. I found that it was to do with items I had on the jacket layer (I had tried rebaking, logging on and off, and logging in from different places – none of those worked). The first time, it turned out that if I had a particular jacket layer on, then nothing showed up on my lower half (pants, underpants or even skin) – it was ok as soon as I took it off. Since then I’ve had the same problem with a couple of other jackets, including one that DEFINITELY used to be ok. I assume it’s something to do with the current viewer.

I think I found the problem’s solution – Sascha Frangilli passed me a notecard which I’ll repost here late (don’t have it ATM). But when I followed the instructions she sent me, my wonky texture issues cleared up.
