Dress Me Up – Gidge by Phire Zuhra

Took Me Long Enough to get Elfy – didn’t it? I’m having system issues, give me love.

So, Elfy.

Hmmm. I know some elves. And pixies of various sorts. Now, this condition is possibly only symptomatic of the elvies and pixes I know – but they are all consistently badly dressed. I’m not kidding. I wonder sometimes, if they don’t rock the BIAB clothes out of the role play sims and keep some fantastic costumes that I never get to see while fully into their Elf role play.

If you are one of my Elf Friends, I’m sorry. Quit wearing BIAB, you’re killing me. I love you but, but seriously, one of you wears that same black dress everywhere – YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE. Stop it.

Now that I’ve trashed the entire elf culture, and the BIAB industry…….

My real quandary came when I tried to figure out HOW to be an elf.  I did run to Illusions for the ears (they have an excellent selection of attachement adorments, in the ear and antler department – I was fairly surprised!)  And I spent along time trying to decide which ears to buy, but chose some smaller, pixie sized ears as I had this idea…..this concept…

Of an Elizabethan Elf.

I wanted to see the prim elegance of Tudor England – worn by an elf. I really didn’t know where I was going to find such a gown when Pixel Dolls dropped ELIZABETH on us as a group gift.

Voila.

Elfy. Maybe not traditional Elfy.

But who says that they all have to live in the forest?

Now – I want to see what the elves are wearing when the rest of us aren’t around. I’m about 90% sure it’s not BIAB! I may have to become an Elf to learn, might’nt I?
