Music is My Aeroplane

Sometimes I get a review pack from someone I’ve never heard of, and this can be the most fun of all. It’s like being given a bag of treasure. There are so many places to shop on The Grid, you couldn’t EVER hit them all simply due to the fact that places open and close faster than you could complete your list.

I think that’s sort of exciting and daunting at the same time.

I plucked this dress out of the bag first of all and dropped it on. I immediately fell in love with the fun retro- wallpaper style print on the skirt panels. The top has a nice simple texture with fun bright colors. Now I have to make a confession.

I put this on, and then went running around to every shoe store I love BAREFOOT trying to pick out the shoes I wanted to wear with it. I bought like 4 pair of shoes…….NONE of which worked when I actually put them on….then I realized I had the Periquita I’m WEARING and they matched wonderfully.

I’m dorky like that sometimes. I was kind of excited.

This is a carwash style skirt with wide open prim panels, and a system skirt underneath.

No, I didn’t know that on my own – I had to ask Cajsa, because I was confused as to why so few panels. To the designers credit, I still liked the dress even though I didn’t know why it seemed short a panel 🙂 .

This is one of many fun, kicky, retro inspired designs by Dice Beattie from Beats. It’s definitely my favorite piece in the review pack because of the colors and really unusual construction.

Looks very nice, but i can’t find the shop – as so often is the case with fashionbloggs. Please why don’t you give a SLur?

His store was under a different name – Roll of the Dice and his first location is located in Salchica Harbor, formerly Kindly State. I dont know if he has changed the name or if Beats is a separate line.
