When the Moon is in the Seventh House

I had one priority during last night’s pajama party/sneak peek at the Hair Expo. Come what may, I was going to find the incredible Kaori hair from Exile and snatch it up. And I did and thanks to that, you see it here in all its wild disarray. I am in love.

So, the Hair Expo? Laggy of course, but hey, swimming and shopping at the same time must do wonders of aerobic goodness for your pixel heart. Overwhelming – so much hair and only one head. But we all know what it really is. It’s the Fashionista’s Big Rock Candy Mountain!

But that’s not all today, Stiletto Moody has new shoes though she’s only teasing up by letting us see them. They don’t go on sale until 6PM tonight. Still, a girls gotta look.

After shopping at the  Expo, I dressed up for non-laggorendous shopping in a lovely dress from Freesoul Designs. The Seventies Dress – it’s on sale now for half price and well worth your time and lindens. Either follow the SLURL beacon or go the the downstairs sales room.

I first saw this dress on SL Fashion Diva and have to Junko Otsuka total props for not only styling it beautifully, but when I searched the store high and low I sent her an IM asking where to look and she went there and tp’ed me right to the dress. How kind is that? With it I am wearing another Stitch by Stitch shrug, because you can never have too many shrugs.

Okay, one more shot of this super-HAWT hair.  The earrings are from creampop, the necklace from 3-Star and the corsage is from Swallowtail. Have you noticed that I love Swallowtail?

I guess the pattern does remind me of the old supergraphics and op-art. Otherwise I wouldn’t have called this a “Seventies” dress, so to speak. When I think Seventies, I usually think either like the “earth-mother” style you created a week or so ago, or halter dresses and similar, and disco heels. (The memories dim after 30 years — perhaps mercifully.)

Yes, the hem is a bit long for the 70’s, isn’t it? (And dare I say tasteful?) But the fabric certainly fits with some of the pop prints – pucci and others that were so popular then.
